Carmelo Anthony Jordan Melo M10

The latest of Carmelo Anthony signature shoes is one that extends the life of Jordan Brand’s patented Flight Plate technology. Other design features include that shiny plate on the heel area, one thought up by Tinker Hatfield himself as a metaphorical extension of NYC’s bright lights that Anthony plays under. As was the case with Melo’s previous signature, the shoes won’t be in stores until January 2014, but Melo himself will break them out a bit earlier with a Christmas debut this year. The colorways seen here show a return to suede materials (a rarity in today’s trends of performance basketball design structure), so don’t be surprised if the we see more higher-end builds in the future. Continue reading for some exclusive shots of the Jordan Melo M10 from today’s Jordan Brand preview and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more info and other Jordan Release Dates.

Nike Air Safari – Brave Blue – Laser Orange – SneakerNews.com

It it still a Nike Air Safari without the signature print? This new edition of the shoe swaps out the pattern most closely associated with the shoe, but maintains the sneaker’s overall identity via the true-to-1987 shape. On top of that they put in an entirely new print instead of just leaving things clean-a sort of wavy zebra looking set of lines. Stay with us after the break to get up close and personal with this Nike Air Safari pair and then purchase a pair for yourself at retailers like Titolo.

Air Jordan XX8 "Thunder Camo" – SneakerNews.com

This Air Jordan XX8 one isn’t one that we’ve seen on the feet of Russell Westbrook, but you have to imagine the colorway was crafted with him in mind. The combo used is a distinctly OKC one, with the print in place across the shroud landing somewhere between elephant print and camouflage. This doesn’t fall into the range of Air Jordan XX8 playoffs pairs that have been whipped up for Westbrook, so they likely won’t hit the floor for him in this season. That can’t stop you though, as the Air Jordan XX8 “Thunder Camo” is releasing on May 11th, 2013. Peep the official photos below and tell us what you think.

Update: This Air Jordan XX8 has been pushed back and will release on 06/08/13.

Nike SB Stefan Janoski Mid "Zebra Pack" – SneakerNews.com

Is zebra print the heir to the animal pattern throne currently occupied by leopard spots and snakeskin?  It sure seems to be popping up more frequently of late, and here we see a model that has skipped out on the aforementioned prints donning the distinctive streaky lines from that African equid.  The Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid ‘Zebra’ appears in three colorways, about three months after we first saw the lowtop edition adopt a couple of similar striped styles (though those are tiger, not zebra).  Click through to see all three and stick with Sneaker News for the latest because it appears the Janoski line is seriously ramping up its graphic output.

Nike Air Raid 2014 Retro – SneakerNews.com

Nike SB Stefan Janoski Arriving in Toddler Sizes – SneakerNews.com

In much the same way that the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski introduced a generation of skaters and sneakerheads to the traditional boat shoe aesthetic, it’s only natural that those with children would want to share the timeless style with their youngsters.  The Stefan Janoski Jr has been available in GS sizes for a while now, and here we see Nike Skateboarding target an even younger audience with what appears to be the first SB shoe this small in years.  The Baby Janoski introduces the smallest version of the Swoosh’s longest running skate signature; will you be adding these to the little ones’ Air Jordan TD collection?
