Jordan Melo M9 – Game Royal – Orange – Black – SneakerNews.com

The latest Jordan Melo M9 release comes at an interesting time. First of all, they look quite a bit like another release that hit with a bit less orange back in spring. This itself is a bit odd, though both do indeed perfectly sync up with Carmelo Anthony’s New York Knicks uniforms. The other curious detail is that this is the fourth major use of the Game Royal shade on a Melo M9, and it happens to arrive shortly after another pair that follows a similar palette minus any orange parts. In any case, this is an attractive design for NYK fans with its suede and nubuck upper, and you can see more photos after the jump, before you pick up a pair from Jordan Brand retailers like Titolo.

Carmelo Anthony Jordan Melo M10

The latest of Carmelo Anthony signature shoes is one that extends the life of Jordan Brand’s patented Flight Plate technology. Other design features include that shiny plate on the heel area, one thought up by Tinker Hatfield himself as a metaphorical extension of NYC’s bright lights that Anthony plays under. As was the case with Melo’s previous signature, the shoes won’t be in stores until January 2014, but Melo himself will break them out a bit earlier with a Christmas debut this year. The colorways seen here show a return to suede materials (a rarity in today’s trends of performance basketball design structure), so don’t be surprised if the we see more higher-end builds in the future. Nike Air Safari – Brave Blue – Laser Orange – SneakerNews.com

It it still a Nike Air Safari without the signature print? This new edition of the shoe swaps out the pattern most closely associated with the shoe, but maintains the sneaker’s overall identity via the true-to-1987 shape. On top of that they put in an entirely new print instead of just leaving things clean-a sort of wavy zebra looking set of lines. Stay with us after the break to get up close and personal with this Nike Air Safari pair and then purchase a pair for yourself at retailers like Titolo.

Jordan CP3.VII "Nitro Pack" – SneakerNews.com

The Jordan CP3.VII looks to don the “Nitro Pack” colors once again. You’ll recall that Chris Paul’s previous sig did the same, the bright palette meant as an extension for the souped up cars and street racing scene out in his new Los Angeles home. The Jordan CP3.VII is a shoe that will make its US debut as of October, 2013, with this themed set arriving not too long after (They’re officially marked as a Holiday 2013 release). Air Jordan XX8 "Thunder Camo" – SneakerNews.com

This Air Jordan XX8 one isn’t one that we’ve seen on the feet of Russell Westbrook, but you have to imagine the colorway was crafted with him in mind. The combo used is a distinctly OKC one, with the print in place across the shroud landing somewhere between elephant print and camouflage. This doesn’t fall into the range of Air Jordan XX8 playoffs pairs that have been whipped up for Westbrook, so they likely won’t hit the floor for him in this season. That can’t stop you though, as the Air Jordan XX8 “Thunder Camo” is releasing on May 11th, 2013. Peep the official photos below and tell us what you think.

Update: This Air Jordan XX8 has been pushed back and will release on 06/08/13.

Nike SB Stefan Janoski Mid "Zebra Pack" – SneakerNews.com

Is zebra print the heir to the animal pattern throne currently occupied by leopard spots and snakeskin?  It sure seems to be popping up more frequently of late, and here we see a model that has skipped out on the aforementioned prints donning the distinctive streaky lines from that African equid.  The Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid ‘Zebra’ appears in three colorways, about three months after we first saw the lowtop edition adopt a couple of similar striped styles (though those are tiger, not zebra).  Click through to see all three and stick with Sneaker News for the latest because it appears the Janoski line is seriously ramping up its graphic output.

Air Jordan XX8 SE "Russell Westbrook Camo" – SneakerNews.com

In the same way that Russell Westbrook was the premier player carrying the flag for the Air Jordan XX8, he will be the one representing the upcoming Air Jordan XX8 SE in the NBA. Shown here is a attention grabbing camouflage pair intended for Russell which dons a set of shades that has them even a bit more colorful than the more Thunder-focused Air Jordan XX8 “Thunder Camo”. Nike Air Safari – Bamboo – Team Red – SneakerNews.com

The current era of sneakers will be remembered for being covered in colorful patterns of all sorts, and in the model pictured above, we have one of the originators of this look as paired with one of today’s trendy visuals. The Nike Air Safari has seen its namesake ostrich-inspired print applied to quite a few other models of late, and here we see a ‘Wild Street’ colorway that uses a tonal zebra pattern for a different approach.
